Join us for the annual Cub Scout Pack 166 Pinewood Derby. Kits can be obtained via your respective Den Leader. Please be sure to follow the Pine Wood Derby Rules. at https://www.scoutshop.org/pwd-rules

Blue and Gold Banquets are a tradition in Cub Scout packs. This will be Pack 166’s celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the BSA on February 8, 1910. We will conduct the Arrow of Light ceremony as the 5th graders cross over to a troop 166. In addition, we will hold a pot-luck dinner in celebration of the crossover.

We’ll be meeting at the Bexley United Methodist Church (BUMC) for our monthly Pack Meeting bringing all of the dens in the pack together for the purposes of recognizing the achievements of the Cub Scouts, communicating information about upcoming events, and providing a program that enriches the Cub Scouting experience.

SERVICE ORIENTED MEETING.  Last year we made sandwiches for the Little Free Pantries.  If you have ideas for this year let me know.  I plan to take a look at the Seeds of Caring site for inspiration :)

Our fearless Popcorn Colonel/Kernel will be providing information for the Fall 2022 popcorn sale and have some yummy popcorn for tasting

Pack 166 will be holding the annual Pinewood Derby in the Fellowship Hall at Bexley United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Safety Protocols

1) All persons entering the building should wear a mask in the halls and common areas unless they have a medical exemption.
2) Groups which are wholly comprised of persons age 12 and older may allow vaccinated persons to remove masks while in their meeting spaces. Unvaccinated persons must wear a mask the entire time while in the building.
3) Vaccinated persons who have removed their masks in meeting spaces need to put them back on while in common areas of the building, e.g., halls, stairways, restrooms, and elevators.
4) Groups that include children under age 12 are asked to remain masked while in the building, including in their meeting spaces.
5) Please refrain from serving refreshments during your meetings at this time unless you are outdoors.
6) Please periodically remind persons of basic safety guidelines--stay home if you are feeling ill and wash hands frequently.
7) Please return the space as you found it.
8) Communicate these protocols to your group members before you return to the building.
